The Safe-T-Rip heavy-duty belt rip detector's electrical switching circuit is magnetically or mechanically operated, utilising the inherent reliability of reed or micro switches. The micro switches are IP67 sealed with silver contacts for circuit reliability, and the reed switches are encapsulated in a robust enclosure.

Various trip tensions can be achieved through simple external spring clip adjustment. An external Santoprene rubber boot assists in excluding dust and dirt from the plug and socket assembly, ensuring operational compliance.

Key features

  • Magnetic or mechanical switching circuit
  • Externally adjustable trip tension via spring clip
  • Santoprene rubber boot excludes dust from the plug and socket
  • Left- and right-hand configurations
  • Flat and standard socket kits available
